Nigeria Rises to 64th in Latest FIFA Ranking

The recent FIFA ranking that was released on Thursday has moved Nigeria three steps ahead to 64th, while 2018 World Cup rivals Algeria, Cameroon and Zambia slipped in the ratings. 
Nigeria is now in the 14th position in Africa. It was able to improve in his position because of the recent victory of the Super Eagles over the Tanzanian’s which ended in 1-0.
The country is now ranked 14th in Africa.
Cameroon stepped down in five places to 59th in the world. Zambia, who hosts Nigeria next month in final round of the qualifying series for the World Cup, is now 92nd in the world.


In Africa,Algeria lost  top spot to Cote d’Ivoire  and slipped to 35th in the world.
