Nollywood actress, Tayo Sobola better known as Sotayo, has put all hands on deck to ensure that she delivers quality movie production from the stables of her company Sotee Entertainment.

The actress recently dragged the likes of Empress Njamah, Anta Laniyan, Eniola Badmus and others to the set of her movie ‘The Occupant,’ which is due to be released before the year runs out.

Rather than have the regular misunderstanding many actors  will have on set, the duo paired well in their various roles that they pledge to always work together if they get the opportunity again.

Orits Wiliki, Ras Kimono Set for Collaboration

It’s been a while since the country heard good Reggae songs and the likes of legendary singers, Orits Wiliki and Ras kimono and planning something big. 

The duos are currently planning collaboration as they hope to shake the industry a bit with great Reggae songs.

The two singers have been part of those in the fore front trying to ensure that that Reggae music is not dead in the country and as many run away from the genre of music which ones dominated the Nigerian music scene, they believe coming together to make great music will help revive the genre.

Rio 2016 is Our Worst Olympics Outing Ever – Blessing Okagbare

Star Nigerian athlete Blessing Okagbare has expressed her disappointment and frustration with how officials of the Nigerian contingent to the Rio 2016 Olympics handled logistics and preparations for the tournament, describing Nigeria’s participation in the Rio games as the country’s worst ever. 

In an interview with Punch newspaper, Okagbare said it didn’t feel like an Olympic for her not because she didn’t win a medal but because the morale and support the Nigerian contingent received from the country’s sports officials was nothing to write home about.

“Some of the girls come to me and we talk. Some times when they say these things (about how bad they feel), I just feel like these people feel the same way I feel. Everything about Rio was just low. This is the worst Olympics we’ve had”, she said.

Photo: Graduate Impersonates Bishop Kukah To Defraud Oyedepo, Dantata, Others

A graduate of Political Science, Jehu Kwasu, has narrated how he impersonated the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Bishop Matthew Kukah and defrauded prominent Nigerians of millions of naira.

Kwasu said his victims included Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church Worldwide, who he claimed gave him N500,000; the Chairman, Honeywell Group, Oba Otudeko, N1m; Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu, N500,000; businessman, Alhaji Aminu Dantata, N2m.

He allegedly collected the sums for Internally Displaced Persons.

He said, “I collected N500,000 from Otudeko, CEO, Honeywell: From Admiral Kanu, I got N500,000. I also got N500,000 from Bishop Oyedepo and N2m from Dantata. I also got money from Gen. Wushishi and others.

“I opened a Guaranty Trust Bank account in Bishop Kukah’s name. I registered a SIM card in my name, but used Bishop Kukah’s picture on my True Caller account, so that when I call, his picture would appear (on the recipient’s phone.)”
