A man met the ghastliest of scenes yesterday, September 15th, when he went to visit a friend who lived in a sugar cane plantation in Udon, Thailand.

 

Teerayut Promkhao, 40, called out to his friend thinking he was still asleep in the early morning hours. But he was not in his bed under the mosquito net, reported Daily News.


So he went to the kitchen area and found a trail of blood leading outside. His friend's head and torso was stuffed in a fertilizer sack.

Next to that were his friend's arms severed at the shoulder and legs cut off at the knee. These four limbs were stuffed in a blue bucket. Two large kitchen knives were laying about.

 

He rode off in a panic and called the cops. The grisly murder happened about one kilometer from the village of Non Sawan.

 

The dead man was identified as 50-year-old Panya Thongsri, who was looking after the plantation for his wife who was working in Korea.

Man Arrested for Smuggling Capsules Containing Drugs in his Stomach

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has arrested a South African based Nigerian man, Abiodun Israel Banjo over parcels of illicit drugs found in his possession. 

Banjo who tested positive to methamphetamine was nabbed at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos.

He was later operated by the doctors and about 100 capsules of cocaine valued at N31 million was retrieved from his stomach.

A police source who was assigned to guard the accused in the hospital said, “I was assigned to stand guard on the accused at the hospital. He had just been referred by the airport police officers after he was suspected of smuggling capsules containing drugs in his stomach.

Abonta Challenges Buhari to Release Hand-over-notes of Jonathan

Uzoma Nkem-Abonta, the Chairman, House Committee on Public Petitions, has charged President Muhammadu Buhari to publish the hand-over notes of former President Jonathan to enable Nigerians know the situation of things. 

This statement by Abonta was prompted by President Buhari claims that Jonathan left nothing for his government in the treasury.

The statement made by the lawmaker reads, “This government actually needs all hands on deck to move Nigeria from recession.

“There is no doubt we must double-leap to beat recession and we must primarily focus on food production. If I may ask, are there no PDP members helping to run the affairs of this government?
